100 years ago, settlers throughout the Bear River Valley were proud of their crops. They had worked hard to carve out their homes and farms in the North Woods - and were succeeding in making their marks. Stories of this fertile valley spread throughout the Iron Range, and people from far and near came to the first "exposition" to see what was happening in this new community.
